I consult organisations on increasing the effectivity of knowledge work, networked learning, and social media tools adapted to a fast paced and information overloaded world. (Client portfolio) On a regular basis I speak both nationally and internationally for both business and academic audiences on knowledge, learning and social media. Recent speaking engagement:
Online Educa, Berlin		 Keeping up with developments is fuelling my work in research. The impact of technology on our work and learning, as well as empowering people to take their lives into their own hands are my focal points. Technology, work forms and organizational structures are all tools. Tools need to support people in their work, not the other way around. Social media are in sync with how we know people work, not how we wish them to work.
